A Growing Challenge
As many organizations grow, the challenge remains the same: how to create effective communication with partners and customers? Finding reliable solutions for day to day communications, as well as for connecting multiple locations for video conferencing, can be difficult.
These communications usually consist of a combination of IP and ISDN locations, different types of video equipment and varied audio and video standards. External Multipoint Control Units (MCUs) can be a costly use of capital, and often create the need for ongoing operational support.
The Sensible Solution
We are proud to introduce: JOIN™—a new Video Bridging Service from Sensory Technologies. JOIN™ offers a simple, secure, cost-effective way to connect multiple locations across different networks and different equipment standards. Now organizations can collaborate in a single videoconferencing call with ease.
Scheduling a Conference
Calls can be scheduled through our Network Operations Center, (NOC), via email or phone. Our customers have easy access to a Scheduling Form, which reserves videoconferences between sites that have already been certified and provides detailed instructions for scheduling calls or initiating on-demand conference sessions.
Site Certification
Sensory Technologies certifies all locations to ensure that all calls are optimized for the capabilities of that particular location.
In order to certify a location, Sensory Technologies schedules an appointment for customer locations. During the certification process, the JOIN™ video bridge attempts to connect to the customer endpoint. Following a successful connection, audio and video are tested. If any issues arise, the NOC technician works with the customer site contact or technical contact in order to resolve any network or firewall issues.
Global Network Operations Center (NOC)
All services are monitored and managed by the Sensory Technologies Network Operations Center (NOC) in Indianapolis. Our NOC location provides customers with a single point of contact for all of their outsourced solutions. The Sensory Technologies support organization is available Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to assist customers with managing, scheduling and coordinating video calls.
